Cimarrón Golf Resort
Cimarrón Golf Resort features two world-class layouts designed by John Fought. Cimarrón, named after the vibrant purple flower, also means "wild and untamed". Enhancing the stark beauty of the native desert, Cimarrón uses European-style such as bunker walls made of sod, and filled with white crushed marble against the creative contouring of the emerald fairways. Cimarron is quite unique because of the fact that it combines traditional desert golf with European links similar to old Scotland.

What was once 6600 yards of fairways lined with trees now has 40 additional bunkers. Beware! There is a severe back to front slope on the greens. The course opened in 1995 and was designed by the famous architect Ted Robinson. The course features strategically placed bunkers, rolling terrain, spectacular waterscapes and incredible views of the mountains.
