In July on Saturdays the Camelot Theatres play new films. Following the movie, the audience voices their thoughts and opinions. August introduces First Friday's - an open-house tour of all the glorious shops and quaint little stores along Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. As the summer starts cooling down, jazz aficionados will enjoy a day trip to Idyllwild for Jazz in the Pines.

For short film enthusiasts, the International Festival of Short Films screens hundreds of short films from around the world at the illustrious Camelot Theatres. In November, one of the largest congregations in the area makes way as Palm Springs Pride invites gays, lesbians and those of all lifestyles to enjoy festive times, music and an elaborate parade. For families, the Golf Cart Parade showcases a barrage of golf carts and astounding costumes.
